Generally we have concentrated on combining moderately priced accommodation with the most popular tours, so that for an inclusive price you can experience more of Borneo than the four walls and lush gardens of just one luxury resort.

In some areas, notably the Highlands of Sarawak (Bario), there are only privately run lodges and on some of the treks you will have to stay the night at simple jungle shelters and abandoned longhouses.
